2015
One room, one rig
A group of actors pooled rent for a single rehearsal room and started meeting every Sunday.
2018
The black box opens
Bare walls, copper conduit and ninety seats you can put anywhere. Our first season ran twelve productions.
2021
Studios & workshops
Rehearsal studios and a workshop room joined the building, opening the space to teachers and students.
2024
A hub, not a hall
Lounge, terrace and green room turned late nights into conversations, residencies and collaborations.

Dhiraj leads the technical operations at Prayogshala, handling everything from lights and sound to ensuring seamless show execution. With a sharp understanding of backstage dynamics, he brings precision and calm to the chaos of live performance.
Harshil Patel
Maintenance Head
Harshil bhai is the maintenance head at space, handling backstage coordination and production for events. His understanding of live-performance logistics ensures seamless execution from behind the scenes.
